was doing flag day selling the hearty pins for the singapore heart association at junction 8...it was so long since i last did my my last flag day...about 1 sem before... and i was quite surprised by the crowds in junction 8...not that they were too generous or very stingy ...we took an hr plus to sell the 25 pins that were assigned to each tin... but the ppl there was quite rude...somehow like those at orchard road...to me, what is considered rude is those ppl who doesn't even twitch an eyebrow when u ask them to donate...its like u are just a fly flying about...that they can't be bothered...talking about the rude ones we shall not forget the good ones who paid $10 for a pin when they didn't hve small change...thanks to them all who generously donated or acknowledged our presence. come to think of it ...besides our fund raising , there were like 2 other charities (the st school pocket money fund which i happily bought a teddy home and another "ulu" organisation which i hadn't heard of but were the only one s giving out the stickers) ...preparing to go for the much awaited dinner tonight outside tgcc...yup hope there will be 6 courses at least...still muching on bread now...lest i get hungry before the dinner! time to chill, i guess i realised the differences btw a poly and a jc...seriously no one will admire jc life...though they might envy jc students ...but my jc friends all wanted to bash me when i told them abt the life in poly...rather than being slacker...our system is really more flexible than theirs without having to mug for the much dreaded "A" levels...in poly i think the policy of teach less learn more applies...we hve little tutorial...mostly lectures...but u hve to do the independent learning on ur own...and whether u take pride in ur own studies is up to u ...so i guess they basically treat us like young adults though they spoon feed me with lots of biology ... for more information or detailed explanation on the differences...ur welcome to tag my board...thats all for today...what a long entry...=p

The future is not some place we are going but one we are creating.
The paths to it are not found but made,
and the process of making them changes both the maker and the destination.
some words to enlighten the heart of stressed minds during this exam period!=)

who's the blurest queen of all...can picture my face in the mirror... sighs...i actually mistaken a conditioner for a shampoo...and used it for a few weeks before realising when i realise my hair is becoming too oily...slickier i should say...then more tamed than before cause it all sticks together...what a mistake...lol...in the end i went to get a new SHAMPOO this time round...too used to just getting the pantene one from the same place on the shelf ...leading to such a 'grave' error...sometimes, somethings we just take for guranteed, i guess. what a lesson learnt...luckily..my hair is back to the original state...^-^''

its not hard to find that the common thing on wishlists are items related to technology...
how far can one go to buy branded goods? is it to the extent they are happy with buy a 'inauthentic' one...i really ponder...do we actually buy branded for the brand or is a brand actually a recognition of the quality of the product that we pursue? does putting a name really mean so much? or does it add quality which a consumer is constantly searching for?
how much are we willing to pay for a technology or a quality product that we are willing to do anything to earn enough or save enough to buy that much desired non living thing? or sacrifice anything for it? are we being slaves of technology on our continuous pursue for high tech devices to 'simplify' our job and relying on technology...
being brand conscious is not the extremely right thing to do...but for the search for a product that satisfy our wants we unknowingly turn to a brand because of its popularity?
food for thought is why people are always chasing these 'inhumane' things ...are we preys of these 'superficial' products' companies or are we customers who wants the best for ourselves...what is it that we actually wants? is it a crave to fill up an empty heart...i really don't know...-.-''
i'm really confused by the what the people in the urban society thinks...
but i guess i'm tired of rushing out the crs (critical reading skills)book reviews...crs is pretty like the jc gp paper exept that ours is of a lower standard...

i'm quite disappointed...it shows how weak human nature or rather human emotions are...thats why my msn nick is : man's greatest pullback...their emotions...sighs...ruled by ur heart or ruled by ur brain..u will hve to determine it for urself and u will know whether ur mentality is strong or weak, i guess...perhaps i'm just spouting nonsense...just recover from a fever...39.0 on tuesday night...37.8 on wednesday morning...and 36.7 on thursday morning...currently hving a sore throat at the moment...so msn is my best communication tool at the moment...still recuperating from the trauma of the 3 tests i had...i guess half of my brain cells are dead...my clsmates were still joking about hving to store extra memory space with a thumbdrive plug into ur brain...imagine many thumbdrives coming out of ur head...lol...but anyway...credits to my mum for enabling such a speedy recovery...and my teachers...hope they mark more leniently...but i shld hve prepared earlier...to think the fever disrupted my last minute study....sighs...
